The superfood threesome

Oh wow. You know how I like to use sexual metaphors when talking about my food creations. And now, I’ve found the perfect threesome: avocado, tomato and trout. Research has shown that the mono-unsaturated fats in avocados and trout boost the cancer-fighting properties of the lycopene in tomatoes. This makes both the healthy fats and the lycopene up to four times more effective! Not even to mention the foodgasm times four you’ll experience when eating this. Yay. Yes. Yum.

Smoked trout, avocado and tomato salad

Edible equipment for one person:
– 1 avocado
– 130gr smoked trout filet
– 4 cherry tomatoes
– 4 sundried tomatoes, in chunks
– 1T fresh lemon juice
– 1t paprika powder
– Himalaya salt, freshly ground black pepper
The DIY instructions
Cut your avocado in long strips. Cut the trout filet as well, and slice the cherry tomatoes in halves. Put this on a plate and decorate it however you like. Add the sundried tomatoes, lemon, paprika and bring to taste.
